The region of Cape Town offers you endless opportunities to make your stay exciting and unforgettable.

Windsurfing & Kitesurfing

Sunset- and Melkbos beach are ideal for lower wave-interme-diates (beginners). Platboom as well as Haakgat are excellent for advanced learners and cracks to run riot and the Riet Vlei (lake) makes sure of dead (shallow) water by 25°C temperature.

The coast is paradise for wind- and kite surfers. You can store your surf equipment in our in-house board storage.

Mountain biking and Road Cycling

Cape Town has an incredible variety of mountain bike trails-anything from easy cross country singletrack to hardcore downhill trails. Tokai forest (30 minutes Drive from tue guesthouse) is Cape Town's most popular mountain bike destination and offers scenic off road rides, technical singletrack and a downhill tracks. The Durbanville Hills area (15 minute drive) also has about 70 kilometers of flowing singletrack trails and offers amazing views of Table Mountain and Table Bay.

For the fit road cyclists, the Cape Peninsula offers some of the most beautiful rides in the world. Cycle past the penguins of Boulders Beach or cruise up Chapmans Peak drive. Of course, the nearby wine lands give you the chance to cruise past vineyards, stopping en-route to enjoy the fruits of the vine if you are a bit more relaxed!

iRIDE AFRICA: organised guided rides and bike hire.

100 years ago the first golf club was constructed in South Africa and the “South” has been in golf-fever since then. Today there are about 400 golf courses in the country, with more than 20 being in the immediate vicinity of Cape Town.

Only ten minutes away, the Milnerton Golf Club, one of the many in the area, lies directly on the white sand of Blouberg Beach, on a narrow strip of land between the Riet Vlei Lagoon and Table Bay. It is the only Links-Course in Cape Town and at certain times of the year you are able to watch whales and dolphins from there.

There is no HCP required.
